Comic Backstory: Once the invasion begins, Samantha and Jason mistakenly take the chaos for their signal to begin their own take-over plans. They set about re-wiring the 'Daily Show' studio to televise their first press conference but are soon interrupted as Jon attempts to make his way out of the building in search of Stephen. Misunderstandings, an icy brawl and a burning desk later, Sam and Jason stay behind at the studio to try and calm a berserking Lewis Black as Jon continues on.

Weapons: Sam is the master of a standard issue Canadian hockey stick. Nothing remarkable about it. No-siree-bob. Jason can produce roses. Many, many roses.
Powers: Sam's attacks are ice based. She can freeze objects and can rain down deadly ice shards on her enemies. Jason's roses carry explosives attached to their stems and can stick to just about any object once thrown.
